Haney Sewing & Sound was established in 1969 by Jack Sheppard. After 25 years at the Singer Sewing Machine Company, he decided instead to follow his entrepreneurial spirit by opening his own retail location. He quickly added TV’s, stereos, and home appliances to his product mix, and focused on only carrying the best brands in each category.

Jack’s sons Don and Dave both joined Haney Sewing & Sound in the 1980s, and Jack is proud to have the 3rd generation working at the business with the addition of his grandson Greg in 2007. Jack, Don, Dave, and Greg have always had the good fortune of working with a fun and knowledgeable staff. We continue to be committed to community involvement and are proud to sponsor local events and fundraisers every year.

As of May 1st, 2019, we changed our name to Haney Appliance & Sound to better reflect our current product offering. We no longer carry sewing machines, but have added a great selection of outdoor grills from Napoleon and Traeger, as well as some new and exciting appliance offerings!

We take pride in offering custom tailored solutions to each person's needs, from full home renovations to single unit purchases. We are here to help before, during, and after the sale.
